Pittsburghers shifted into high gear for the holiday season on Saturday, December 3rd when they gathered at Kenny Ross Chevrolet in Zelienople to stuff a Silverado with wish list items in support of Animal Rescue League Shelter & Wildlife Center (ARL).

Guests who dropped by the 22010 Perry Highway dealership enjoyed plenty of seasonal festivities for their favorite furry friends including holiday pet photos courtesy of MBK photography and pet massages provided by Critter Sitters.  For those that worried their favorite family member was still on the naughty list, A& B Canine Dog Training was onsite to help ensure good behavior in time for December 25th.  Also on hand to celebrate, Dr. Lill Gunther Vmd and Rainbow Vets, who answered pressing pet health questions for local pet owners.

“This event is a great way for us to kick off the season of giving where well meaning individuals can stop by to stuff a Silverado with much needed supplies for the shelter,” said Jimmy Ross.  “In return for their generosity pets and owners get their pictures taken with Santa and have the opportunity to mingle with the adoptable dogs and kittens from the shelter.   The Kenny Ross group hosts several of these events at different dealerships throughout the year and we are pleased so many people could join us at this one.”

Kenny Ross remains grateful for all of the local businesses that teamed up with them to provide more than thirty auction items for attendees to buy raffle tickets for.  Special thanks to The SilverSmith Shop who donated beautiful sterling silver and turquoise earrings and a necklace valued at $450.00 for one lucky raffle winner.

Guests of the event that made a monetary or pet related donation at the event received a free pet first aid kit courtesy of ARL were also entered into a drawing for two Pittsburgh Penguins tickets.
