Close to 200 people gathered at Peter’s Place in Bridgeville for the annual Baptist Homes Society recognition celebration.  The event, organized by the company’s volunteer Employee Recognition Committee, hosted an evening that included dinner, raffle prizes, entertainment and a presentation of service awards led by Al Allison Jr., Baptist Homes Society President & CEO.  The annual gathering acknowledged staff members who have reached milestones in their years of service, as well as those who had been nominated as Mission and Vision Personified (MVP) honorees – individuals who demonstrate the highest level of servant leadership within the organization with a focus on quality and a commitment to person-centered care.

“Baptist Homes Society is blessed with a very talented and dedicated staff whose commitment to extraordinary care, compassion, and service continues to uphold and enhance our reputation for excellence in the community,” said Al. “Our annual Employee Recognition Dinner is a celebration of their dedication to our mission, which not only emphasizes providing ‘the highest quality of care,’ but of ‘uplifting’ one person at a time. I am humbled and grateful for all that our staff does for our residents, day in and day out, and feel privileged to be a part of this organization that serves more than 700 seniors every day.”
