Guests gathered at Revel + Roost for The 10th Annual Little Black Dress, CFF’s signature kick-off party, where countless supporters and 50 Finest alumni gathered to celebrate another important milestone – their quest to identify 25 men and 25 women, accomplished professionals, who will commit to raising much needed funds and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation next year.  Their efforts will be celebrated at a special gala hosted by CFF and WHIRL Magazine in August of 2017, one of the most anticipated events in the city, with over 900 guests in attendance each year.

Potential honorees must be successful in their chosen careers, demonstrate leadership, and exhibit dedication to bettering the lives of others. Each 50 Finest honoree will learn more about the devastating cystic fibrosis disease, the CFF heroes fighting it daily and the life-saving work CFF is doing daily to create more tomorrows for them.

2017 honorees commit to raising as much money as possible for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. They count on friends, family, co-workers, and the Pittsburgh community to help them to exceed their minimum goal of $4,000. All proceeds raised by Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest help to support vital CF research, medical, and educational programs.

“2016 was an incredible record-breaking year with more than $450,000 raised!  I know we can find a great class of honorees for 2017 who will help surpass that total while raising much needed funds and awareness for cystic fibrosis” said Lauren Pesce, Development Director.

“The 50 Finest experience is unparalleled to any other event of it’s kind in Pittsburgh, said Jessica Scalo, 2016 50 Finest Top Fundraiser.  “The CF foundation carefully selects an incredible group of 50 men and women passionate about developing themselves and giving back to the Pittsburgh community. The network I met through this program and the alumni from previous classes solidifies the fact that Pittsburgh is a city worth noticing on a national sale… record breaking even! I’d encourage anyone who’s interested in developing themselves, growing their network, and giving back to the community and a very worthy foundation to participate in this program.”
